Meet Rita Santos, a Rochester based 200 hour certified yoga instructor and ballet teacher/choreographer. She has carried the practice of yoga with her throughout her professional ballet career, through college and into motherhood. In her classes, Rita emphasizes a purpose-driven practice, mindfulness and body awareness. Her aim is to create a safe space for students to quiet the chatter of the mind and turn their attention inward, toward the divine inner light that connects us all. 

YOGA CLASS REGISTRATION & INFO

Join us July 6th for our first yoga class of 2021! Vinyasa Yoga, commonly referred to as “flow” yoga, translates in Sanskrit to “to place in a special way.” In this class, we will string poses together using conscious breath unlocking a greater range of movement and increasing flexibility. By holding postures longer, we will be able to refine proper alignment as well as build strength – key elements in injury prevention. By turning the attention inward to listen to the body, a stronger mind-body connection and greater sense of body awareness can be created, culminating in a new found sense of ease and peace.

Kari herrgott

Meet Kari Herrgott, a Yoga Alliance RYT 235 hour certified yoga instructor. Kari brings 10+ years of experience teaching as a NETA certified group fitness instructor, PiYo Strength certified instructor and R.I.P.P.E.D certified instructor. She has training in boot camp, kickboxing, kettlebells, TRX, barre, LesMills Bodyflow, Mat Pilates, Restorative Yoga, ParaYoga and YogaFit Vinyasa Yoga. Kari’s love of fitness, yoga and wellness has led her to strive to live daily in alignment with the needs of body, mind and spirit. She believes the path of health and wellness is a lifelong journey of transformation, challenge and reward. Kari is thrilled to join Pinnacle and to welcome other’s along in their journey to become the best version of themselves possible, whatever that may be!
